Processing time for visa applicationsYou should apply as early as possible and at least 3 weeks before your date of departure. In cases which have to be forwarded to the Danish Immigration Service for approval a processing time of between 6-10 weeks is standard processing time, but may be longer if the case is incomplete. Kindly check actual processing time at the site of the Danish Immigration Service: www.newtodenmark.dk. Bona Fide visas (visas that can be issued at the Embassy) can be made within 1-2 weeks. This processing time in general also applies to the other Nordic countries represented by Denmark.
